At The Arc of East Central Iowa, we empower individuals with disabilities and their families to engage in lifelong opportunities to live, learn, work, play, and advocate with dignity and full inclusion in their communities. We are a lifestyle, a community, and a movement.
Since 1953 we have served children and adults with disabilities and their families by fostering learning, fun, and friendships through services in the home, in the workplace, and at our facility. We are where people need us, when they need us. Our unique programs teach skills and focus both on the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities AND their caregivers.
The Arc of East Central Iowa is an economic driver, facilitator of change, and a source of safety, security, and well-being for those we serve. Each day we work to make the world a better place – A world where everyone belongs!
